LD Reynolds Resume c02/01/2004

2009 to present day (10/01/2009):

President of Pacific Broadcasting Service,a non profit 501(c)(3) Corporation. A free-lance broadcaster under the moniker of "LD Reynolds- Master Broadcaster", works out of his home studio producing commercials for local businesses on Maui. He also remains gainfully employed at Office Max Kahului, where he will be celebrating ten years as a sales associate in March of 2010. His position as host for the Kaanapali Beach Hotel's "Hawaiian Sunset" program on KHEI 107/5 and KMKK 102.3 continues on Sunday afternoons, 3PM until 7PM. LD is working hard at present locating fulltime work in his career of choice, Broadcasting. As of August 2010 he will be celebrating 43 years in the business.

2003 to 2009:

President of Pacific Broadcasting Service, a non profit 501(c)(3) Corporation. The corporation's mission: To perpetuate Hawaiian Culture and it's Arts through education and music. "Hawaiian Hits Live!" continues under the non-profit banner as a 24/7 live broadcast featuring music, news, sports, educational broadcasts and coverage of cultural events. The website can be found at http://www.voiceofhawaii.org. LD was also operations manager for KNUQ-FM (2003-2009), Maui's only contemporary Hawaiian Island Music Station and KMKK-FM an All Hawaiian Music Station in Kaunakakai, Molokai. He was heard on KAOI-FM (Light Hits and Island Favorites) weekday afternoons (2005-2009) and on the weekend, he to this day, anchors a Computer talk show called "Maui On Line".

2000 to 2002:

Self Employed. Owner/operator of Pacific Internet Broadcast Services. President/treasurer of Pacific Broadcasting Service- a non profit Corporation which offers a 24 hour a day live broadcast to expartiated Hawaiians living outside the island state called "Hawaiian Hits Live!" Free lance radio commercial production/broadcast marketing consulting. Evening jock on KAOI-FM in Wailuku.

1999 to 2000:

Employed at Maui Gateway as director of Marketing and Sales. Also managed the Maui Gateway Internet Store in Kihei, evenings and Saturdays. Contact: George Fontaine, owner CEO at 808 875 0899. Since 1995 LD has owned and operated a web based business called PACIFIC INTERNET BROADCAST SERVICES. Home of "HAWAIIAN JAMZ", a web site that broadcasts Hawaiian Music over the World Wide Web using Real Audio and Windows Media. This award winning project has grown since its inception to become the planets premier web site for all styles of Hawaiian Music. LD solicits financial support from the local business community and its listeners to help fund the project.

1993 to 1999:

1985 to 1993:

Program Director and Morning Show Host for KMVI-FM. At the time, the station was owned by Obie Broadcasting of Maui. Contact Ron Vaught at xxx xxx xxxx (number available upon request).

1980 to 1985:

1967 to 1980:

Staff Announcer, Music and Program Director, Assistant Cheif Engineer. Worked way up from Evening DJ to Afternoon Drive to Morning Drive. Contact Mrs. Nora I. Cooper at xxx xxx xxxx (number available upon request). Durning this period KMVI was owned by the Maui Publishing Company. (I regret to say Mrs. Cooper is no longer well enough to be contacted. Most of my associates from this wonderful era in my life are no longer around.)
