The goal was to create a program that exposed the depth and beauty of Hawai'ian music in all its many forms to a whole new worldwide audience- those who for some reason or another would never make the trip to Hawaii in their lifetime. The goal was to make Hawai'ian music accessible to every one, and in turn, help build up the formerly isolated Hawai'ian Music industry. It is also hoped that through our efforts and this new planet-spanning medium, the Hawai'ian Culture will be more easily understood, and hopefully aid the Hawai'ians in taking their rightful place within the world community. Over time, Hawai'ian Jamz shifted its programming emphasis towards the Hawai'ian Community living outside the Hawai'ian Islands. Halau the world over have begun to depend on us for keeping them up to date on the latest in Hawai'ian Music. Hawai'ian Jamz's successor, "Hawai'ian Hits Live!" now helps ease the homesickness of over a half million former residents and expatriates with a live 24 hour a day broadcast, featuring a wide variety of Hawaiian Island Music, News, Sports, Weather, Educational programming and coverage of special Cultural events.
